Shipping Policy

At Granthuriums, every plant is packed with care to ensure it arrives safely at your door. Please read through the details below before placing an order.

Processing and Turnaround Time

I only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid plants sitting in transit over the weekend. Depending on when your order is placed, turnaround time is usually between one and seven days.

Carriers and Shipping Rates

UPS is the primary carrier I use. USPS may be used in areas not serviced by UPS. Shipping is calculated by weight at checkout.

Orders over four hundred dollars qualify for free UPS 2nd Day Air. Orders over seven hundred and fifty dollars qualify for free UPS Next Day Air.

Cold Weather Shipping

All plants are insulated year round with double foil foam core wrap and polyfil. During cold weather below forty degrees Fahrenheit, heat packs are automatically included at no extra cost. Ground shipping is not permitted in cold weather. Please choose either 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air.

I may delay or cancel an order if unsafe shipping methods are selected, particularly for rare or high-value plants. In extreme cold, usually in the mid twenties or lower, shipments may be postponed until conditions improve.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available by appointment only in St. Petersburg, Florida. Please contact me before placing your order to arrange a pickup time.

U.S. Orders Only

I currently ship only within the United States. International buyers must arrange a U.S. based broker to receive their plants.

Delivery and Responsibility

Please make sure you or someone else can promptly retrieve your package, especially during hot or cold weather. Once your order has shipped, I am not responsible for delays or issues caused by the carrier. However, I will always work with you if problems arise.
