A seed grown carlablackiae of unknown parentage which I received in a trade several years back. After growing out many carlablackiae from different sources I sold the rest and decided on this one to pair with GPH001 for my breeding line. It has very dark leaf color with crisp white veins which are bright pink on emergence.
The famous plant originally grown by my friend Juan (@gayplantheaux). This is one of the earliest carlablackiae plants offered by Rory Antolak in the states belonging to a group of plants often referred to as "unnumbered clones" which are likely largely comprised of wild collected seed that were then grown out in the States. This plant has stunning black velvet foliage with a very unique vein pattern with incredibly vibrant neon pink emergent veins.
Another well known carlablackiae from the early Rory Antolak releases also most likely a wild collected seed grown plant from what I've gathered. This one is known for it's very thin/miinmal venation giving it a very unique spidery appearance.
A select holdback from the Round x GPH001 F1 cross demonstrating a unique narrow leaf shape with sparse venation and compact growth habit.
A select holdback from the Round x GPH001 F1 cross demonstrating a unique vein pattern with no discernible secondary veining and a relative lack of veins along the leaf edge giving it a very spidery appearance. The plant is also a compact grower.
A select holdback from the Round x GPH001 F1 cross demonstrating very interesting thick/bleeding veins with an unusually vertical orientation of the first set of basal veins giving them a cascading waterfall like appearance. This plant has an extremely compact growth habit akin to shield wall.
The first of my numbered "regular" or non-aberrant hold backs from the Round x GPH001 cross. This plant is probably the single blackest carlablackiae I have ever produced to this point. It holds this incredible color for multiple consecutive leaves. The plant also has bold white venation which is a bright pink on emergence.
The second of my numbered "regular" or non-aberrant hold backs from the Round x GPH001 cross. Another exceptionally dark plant with fantastic pink emergent veins. This one has a really nice vein pattern which is reminiscent of the GPH001 pollen parent.
Another of my numbered "regular" or non-aberrant hold backs from the Round x GPH001 cross. Another exceptionally dark plant with fantastic pink emergent veins. This one strikes a nice balance of traits between both parents.
Another of my numbered "regular" or non-aberrant hold backs from the Round x GPH001 cross. Another exceptionally dark plant with fantastic pink emergent veins. This one is fairly elongated with a thinner/more minimal venation than most siblings.
