This is the secret cross I’ve been alluding to for a while now. This is the first time this cross has been made to my knowledge.
The is the original true Stripey clone made by Tim Anderson, not any of the number of Stripey adjacent and similarly named but unrelated plants floating around. The vein pattern is reminiscent of some of the elite individuals from the black widow crosses such as black widow x Michelle which leads some to think that black widow is likely an offspring of Stripey. I hope that using the original plant will lead to higher rates of these seemingly recessive traits being passed on to offspring but time will tell.
The Carla I used here is an intensely black carla which is quite possibly the darkest plant I’ve ever produced.
